The Wholesome Home Program includes a Complete Home Energy Audit as the starting point to a whole house approach to energy efficiency, waste management and sustainable living. The program involves household goal-setting, a schedule and specific steps for reaching those goals, and assistance from Step Ahead in the design and implementation of selected solutions.  As with any of our programs, the specifics of the program will be tailored to your goals.  While one household may set a goal of achieving zero-waste and may utilize Step Ahead’s assistance to create recycling and composting systems to reach this goal, another household may wish to reduce their electric bills by 25% and may utilize Step Ahead’s expertise to learn how to reduce electricity usage and track their progress toward their goal.
