Ginny Ades is owner and president of Step Ahead Home Energy Audits LLC. She is a certified RESNET HERS rater and energy auditor, and has completed the Colorado State University Green Home Program. She holds a B.A. in Environmental Studies/Philosophy from Antioch University and a Master’s in Urban and Regional Planning from University of Colorado. Ginny has lived in Colorado 34 years and is passionate about the area’s natural beauty. She has worked as a community planner in Greenwood Village and Jefferson County, and was executive director of the Mountain Area Land Trust, a local nonprofit land conservation organization. She formed Step Ahead Home Energy Audits in 2009 to help homeowners, builders and others create “green”/sustainable environments which are respectful of our natural resources and responsive to the dynamic of contemporary living in a rapidly changing world.
